So, in just 1 more day and 2010 is officially over!

Question to everyone, how was your 2010? As 2011 draws near, I thought it would be nice to share my stories of 2010. There are ups and downs of course just like everyone else.


Honestly, 2010 has been a really extraordinary year for me. Crazy things happened.. and by crazy, it doesn't neccessarily mean bad things, it can be crazy but good. LOL.

For a start, I've moved from one house to another for like.. 4 times. Meaning I've stayed in 5 different houses in less than 12 months. No kidding and some of my friends are starting to wonder if I'm still living in the stone age because I'm like a freaking nomad.

I've lost a few major things in my life. My laptop which has been around with me for 2 years. But maybe it was a blessing in disguised as I managed to get myself a much better one that allows me to play 'the best football game ever' PES 2010. LOL.

Okay, it doesn't seem to be that much of a loss compared to this... I lost 4 freaking pair of shoes in a night. Can you believe it? People who know me should know I loveeeee shoes. I have some undefined passion for shoes. And guess what? 4 pairs of shoes worth around RM900 just disappeared overnight. Yup, they got stolen by some motherfuckers. A pair of futsal shoes, a pair of basketball shoes and two pairs of casual shoes. Fucking pain you know. =(

Apart from that, I've declined terribly in terms of academic performance. For the first time in my life, I actually failed a semester. Pretty hard to accept but such is life and I hope this first time will also turn out to be my last and final time. No one to blame but myself for being such a lazy ass.

And that's not it, I have been crap at managing my money too. Not that I wasn't crap at it before, but I just basically got even crapper, especially this year. So crap that I've been working part time on most of my weekend and still not able to cover my up financial burden.

I also got mindfucked in one of the most bizarre incidents of my life too. The one where I got cheated by my housemates and all. I remember posting it in my blog before, check out this link (scroll down to no. 5).

The good things of 2010 though, is that I get to witness the best team in the world lifting the biggest prize in football. Spain becoming the champion of World Cup. Will never be able to forget the moment when Iniesta scored the winning goal in the extra time.

I also got myself a BlackBerry Bold 9700. I'm still loving every single second of it. Despite everyone going crazy over the iPhone and whatnot, I've decided to give BB a try and I've never looked back then. I won't say which is the better one but I can only say I have no regrets at all. :D

The really good thing of 2010 is that I finally have a baby cousin. A very very cute lil' baby girl.

And that reminds me, I'm also hitting 20 in 2010. Yup, I'm 20 years old already and somehow, hitting the big '2' just magically makes me feel like I have some extra responsibility on my shoulder. Nothing that I know of yet, literally. But I can just feel it somehow. Weird.

Before signing off, here's what I really wish to achieve in the coming 2011.

1. Start focusing on my studies and please, stop procrastinating. Work up my CGPA so that my loan will keep on coming, please?

2. Lessen the burden and worries of my family. Reminding myself to go back Muar more often. =)

2. Learn how to manage my money. *IMPORTANT*

3. Get myself a new pair of shoes? Maybe a few more pair, not just one. But that just contradicts with what I've listed in my number 2, no? Isshhh.

4. Less partying. ALSO IMPORTANT. I know you guys will be laughing at this, but I'm gonna control myself, you know? So please remind me constantly if I ever have any thought of partying. =P (i can do it, you know? :D)

That is all! It's been a freaking long time since I've posted anything this long. In fact, this could be my longest post ever! Hope it won't be a long borefest for you guys to read through all this stuff.

And I'm glad I typed all this out, at least as a reminder for myself if I ever lose track of my life. I can click and look back at whatever I've written here. That is the wonder of blogging. Hehe.

Lastly, I guess it's a pretty good end to the year 2010 for all the Malaysian because we've won the AFF Suzuki Cup! Nothing biggie I know.. Just a small competition but a trophy is better than no trophy at all, right? XD

CONGRATULATION TO MALAYSIA!

But that's not the best part. Our PM just announced it's gonna be a public holiday this Friday courtesy of our big victory! LOL. Happy happy Malaysian =)

And hereby, I propose to have a 1 month holiday if we ever qualify for the World Cup. Let's hope this will happen in my lifetime *fingers cross*

Christmas =)

How was your Christmas everyone? I spent mine at Melacca this year. Counting down at Jonker Walk and basically did what we always do when it comes to countdown event.. we shouted, went extremely high and we started spraying away at everyone else.

No pics though, not prepared to risk those gadget getting sprayed and knocked by the sea of people. But I'm pretty sure there are people who took some pic of me getting totally ambushed with sprays by my friends. =/

The very next day though, we had a BBQ party. Yup, we finally had a proper healthy party. It's been a looooong loooong time since we had any party of those sorts. Barbeque, foods and the best part of all, no alcohol. Only orange juice. How nice! :D

It was fun, just like the old times during our high school years when we literally had BBQ party almost every month. And everytime when we are done with our party, we would jump straight into the pool. Crazy days.

One last subject to go before my sem break officially begins! Not that I'm excited or anything, because frankly speaking... it hasn't really been a busy semester, apart from one really tough assignment.

FYI, I'm in a short semester now with only 2 subjects. I think I've said that before in one of my previous updates but I doubt anyone would remember.

So, I've finished my first paper, Bioprocess Engineering. Considering the effort and time I've put in, I would say I'm actually very very satisfied with how it turns out. No kidding, I spent a grand total of 5 hours on this subject, nothing more than that.

The only reason why is because of chan Fei's birthday. Because of him, I sacrificed my studying time. Just imagine how good of a friend I am. :D

I know this sounds crazy and people will probably have various thoughts about me when I say this, but I went partying just 2 days before my final exam. And prior to that, I haven't started studying at all. Honestly speaking, I'm feeling so so guilty just by saying this... but you guys probably won't believe it. =P

I guess it's all worth it at the end of the day because I think I actually managed to finish my first paper and not having any worries of failing it at all. At the same time, it's fucking worth it because I get to see how 'chan' he is.

God, it's so freaking hilarious I wouldn't mind watching it over and over again. First of all, Robert Downey, Jr. acting in a comedy. Okay, fair enough he's always the cool looking Ironman, Sherlock Holmes or whatnot, but trust me.. he's equally awesome in this movie too.

Not to forget, Zach Galifianakis! Alright, I admit I googled his name because who the hell can spell Galifianakis right. Enough bout the name. BTW, he is the hilarious guy from The Hangover. I knew I'm definitely watching this movie when I saw him in the trailer. How can you not?!

Basically, it's about Robert Downey trying to get back to his wife who's giving birth to a baby girl on the other side of the state. Then, he met Zach and lots of things happened in between the journey. Alright, I'm not gonna spoil it for those who haven't watched it. Go watch it yourself. It's funny as hell. ETHAN TREMBLAY! :D

I need money. Lots of money.

Seriously, I'm so so poor this month. Getting caught up in everything related to money recently. =/

It's really frustrating because I can do nothing about it. I've been working part time but that is like 1 month to go before I receive my pay.

How I wish everything would be solved the minute I woke up from my sleep. Like all the money suddenly come calling and I won't even have to worry or even have the slightest thought about how I'm gonna go through da rest of the weeks.

But such is life, yeah. I know things don't come to you just like. There's this saying, "We will receive not what we idly wish for but what we justly earn". Basically says you have to work your effort to earn it.

There is just so much desires we have in life that even we ourselves lost track of it at times. It is never fulfillable though. The problem is when you've finally achieved something you wanted, there will be yet another desire coming up in the list.

The worst is when it has acculumated to an extent where you feel it's no longer achievable because there is just so much, you'd rather give up. Guess that's what happening to me right now. I'm not just talking about money, I'm talking about literally everything surrounding my life. Though, I have to admit money is a really big part of it.

Now, I don't even know what da hell I've just written. Heck, I've never written things this emo. Or what da hell, I've never been emo, ever. At least, that's what I thought all these while. I still stand by that because I don't think this is an emo post anyway.

Though, I'm can sense myself as a potential emo freak soon if I keep on writing.

Gotta stop here before I really turn mental.

New layout

Now, this is totally random. I don't know what happened to me lately but it just felt like I have so much spare time and I don't even know what to do with it. So bored I could literally sleep whole day and then wake up, and sleep again. The cycle goes on and on until I'm extremely hungry and decided to eat something.

Or sometimes, I just rewatch all the classic episodes of HIMYM and BBT. That's how bored I am. I could've sworn I watched 'The Playbook", "The Naked Man" and a few other episodes for more than 15 times and guess what? I'm still not sick of it, yet. True story ;)

All this boredom are probably because I only took two subjects this semester. One of them, which I've totally gave up on the lecturer and decided not to attend anymore. So, that leaves me with only one subject.

Anyway.. notice any changes to my blog? =P

I realized I've never changed my layout, ever. I think I'm just lazy (not surprising, eh?). But now, I have so much time to kill and out of nowhere, I just thought maybe I should make a little tweak coz it's getting really boring (not again!).

I don't know but I'm always a fan of simple layout. So, this one does look pretty simple and straightforward, and safe to say I'm pretty satisfied with it.

If you actually observe carefully, I took off the header. The pic where I was posing in front of a beach. LOL. In fact, you don't even have to observe at all, it's freaking blatant ffs!

So true! Yeah, women are real thinkers. I didn't realize it until I came across this Rusell Peters' video few days ago.

Didn't know about this scene. I mean, I have all the Rusell Peters' show and all that but this is new to me. Never seen this before until recently when everyone started sharing it in Facebook.

You may have watched it before but what da hell.. I've watched this over and over again and I'm not tired of it. It's so funny because it's true. You know it, I know it.

Very very true because it happens to me everytime, and I'm pretty sure all the guys out there as well. I didn't really realize this until I've seen this video. Really cracked me up. :D

Alright, I'm starting to see a trend now. I realized I only update my blog for like.. once a month. I didn't plan it, it just so happens to be like that.

But it's no coincidence that everytime I come up with an update, it's either I'm about to have my test/final exam or something similar. I guess it's because when test or assignment is near, I tend to free up my time just so I can start working on them or revising.

Here's a theory that I come up with.. about myself. I always try to cancel other schedules or outings when exam's coming and with the free time that I've managed to open up for myself, I go on and do nothing related to the subject, at all. Ironic, eh?That's when I start procrastinating and find myself doing exactly what I'm doing right now, blogging!

Okay, that's a weird and confusing theory. That's why it was created by people like me in the first place. :D

Anyway, me and my bunch of boat kakis went to Mist last Friday. One hell of a nite! One of da best parties we've had, the only thing lacking is a few important characters (you know who you are, WEE CHEW and VO SAN. XD). Else, it would've been perfect! We were celebrating a friend's birthday? Or maybe.. more like a stupid excuse to party. LOL.

I know I don't post enough pic in my blog, which is why it's so fuckin' dull and boring nobody reads it. I guess I just don't take enough pic. But here's something to show. Actually, I've uploaded them to facebook, but whatever.

Alrighty! That's all from me. I know people tend to judge guys who go party but truth is, it doesn't really bother me. We know who we really are, right? And the best of everything is that we enjoyed ourself thoroughly! That's what matters! ;)

I'm finally bringing myself to post something in this deserted blog!

But seriously.. no, I've not forgotten about my blog. Never will. =)

I can't say I'm really busy recently but one thing for sure, lab is killing me mentally and physically.

I have like 16 labs or something this sem. I don't know, but it's one thing I don't wanna remind myself often. But the good news is, I've managed to finish more than half of the labs already. :D

Last month hasn't entirely been the best of months for me. You know what? Actually, it sucked!

Here's a few reason why:

1. My last and only futsal shoes were torn apart. Not to mention the fact that I already lost 3 pairs of shoes the month before. =(

2. My laptop spoiled. The screen somehow managed to show all types of colors and lines, which I can assure you is not funny at all. =(

3. My car speakers decided to turn mute for no reason. Imagine having to drive all the way back to my hometown from KL without any music to keep me focus. Had to come up with RM100+ to get myself a new one. =(

4. My car tyres punctured. Not once, but twice! Twice in one fuckin' month. The second time was an awful experience. It was done by a bunch of brats outside my condo. I don't know why, probably has something to do with where I parked my car. But then, there were like more than hundreds of car there, but it just had to be me. How unfair! =(

5. I got mindfucked by my ex-housemates. Imagine this scenario, you've been living in that house for months and one day, you stepped into that house only to realize that everything is gone. No one is living in that house anymore and all the furnitures are gone. It's like everything turns empty in an instant. Fuckin' unreal, but it happened, to me out of so many people. (FYI, I don't know any of my ex-housemates because I just moved in for not more than 3 months. All I know is, they aren't student from the look of it.)


I swear they are all true! I didn't make this stuff up. I didn't take this from a movie or something. It's just really bizarre.

But on the brighter side...

1. I've got my new laptop. And I'm loving it! :D

2. I've moved a new house with a bunch of friendly housemates. =)

3. My baby cousin was born few weeks ago. :D

That's her! Sooo cute right? >.<

4. I watched Inception! Yup, it's just that awesome I had to include it in my list.

Lastly and the best thing to happen to me for the past few months is my PTPTN loan has finally reached me!

You might think it's not that big of a deal, but it is to me because that means I can buy myself a new pair of futsal shoes. Hell yeah I'm excited! :D

Uni's resuming tomorrow. Yet another semester up ahead.

Can't believe I'm in my second year semester two already! Or should I put it this this way? It's so freakin' unbelievable I'm still surviving. LOL.

Guess I'm still alive, but I'm barely breathing just like da song Breakeven. =P

Oh yeah... final results are out!

And I'm glad coz the results were actually not as bad as I had expected. Really glad. =)

Like I said, I'm still surviving. And sometimes, I wonder how much longer can I hold on? I'm just hoping my breath is long enough for me to survive through another 1 and a half years.

Anyway.. my timetable is fuckin' packed compared to my previous sem. Hell yeah, it's gonna be a long long sem ahead.

*sigh*

Few weeks ago I was just finishing my last subject for the final and so eagerly anticipating for my sem break. And now, I'm already into my new sem. It didn't feel like 3 weeks at all. It's like my final just finished yesterday.

Funny how time passes, especially when it comes to holiday.

I was taking a nap this afternoon and I woke up around 8.30pm thinking "alrite, i'm gonna do a movie marathon for da whole nite until da next morning" only to realize that uni restarts tomorrow and I'll have to wake up early for classes.

Guess I was still in my deluded thought that I was still having my holiday until reality comes knocking in a few hours later. So much for wanting a movie marathon. =/

Conclusion.. I'm NOT done with my holiday yet! I want a longer break please. PLEASE. PLEASE.

Gay is the new trend?

Last week wasn’t exactly the best week for Man City. We lost out to Spurs for the 4th place. Though, if it makes me feel any better, Leeds has been promoted to the Championship.

Anyhow, it still couldn’t take away the fact that this is the best Premiership season ever for Man City. We were 10th last season and look at us now, two places above Liverpool. =)

Truth is, we will only get better as time goes by.

The season is pretty much summed up now with only FA Cup and CL final to go.

And after that, let’s all have few weeks of good rest before World Cup officially begins!

Can’t believe World Cup is just 27 days away. Can’t wait! :D

I'm just lucky I always get to finish my exam faster than most people. That's the only good point I can find in the course I'm taking. Other than that, chemical engineering is literally screwing me upside down. =/

And yeah, about the wish I wanted. No doubt, it is to pass my exam with a reasonable result so that my loan will not stop coming. Damn right, that's the only motivation that actually drives me to do well in my exam. The loan. PTPTN loan.

Been ignoring my blog for nearly a month. And here I am, back to my blog and actually writing something again.

Shit, I don't know how to start this thing. It's like I don't even know how to blog already.

Final is coming in less than three weeks. Geez. How time flies.

I've been spending my time practically the same way I've been spending for the past few months, which can be described in one word, dull. Life is boring, and yet challenging at times.

It's weird, ain't it? I can be so relaxing and bored today and ironically, I can be like totally freakin' out rushing for assignment or lab report the next day.

And I find it really similar to the weather we've been experiencing lately. So effin' hot for a minute and the next second, you see the sky watering down.

Well, at least it's better than February, where there were only hotness and nothing else. You can be bathing right now and the minute you step your foot out of the bathroom, you're sweating all over again.

Weather, unpredictable eh?

Okay, so what else?

Oh yeah, I went to watch the Clash of the Titans, finally.

I know I'm well outdated. Everyone's been going on and on about da movie since.. like weeks ago. And I only get to watch it yesterday night. How sad =(

It was one of the most anticipated movie of the year. I've been waiting for da movie since the first teaser trailer, and I was instantly hoooked then. And of course, I'm also excited for the coming Ip Man 2 and Iron Man 2. But who aren't? =P

Anyway, back to the movie.


Brilliant movie expected, brilliant movie delivered. Though, I'm never a big fan of Sam Worthington. But damn it, his movies always turn out well. Terminator, Avatar and now this. Still, I don't like him and I don't know why. But I like those movies he acted in. Weird, huh. =/

Solomon Tenji

So, I went to Tenji last Sunday with Chew and Jun Jun Jun (don't how many Jun :D). It wasn’t easy finding da place. Mainly because I’m not really familiar with Mont Kiara, at all. I’ve only been there once, just once and my memory is literally screwed up as always.

It actually took us nearly 1 hour to reach there and by the time we reached Tenji (which was around 3.20pm), the guy told us lunch ends at 4pm. That means we have less than 40 mins to enjoy our buffet.

Of coz, we insist on going in after all the trouble we’ve gone through finding the bloody place.

Had a pretty good time there even though we didn’t really have sufficient time. The only thing I’m left with discontent after leaving there is I didn’t get to have the Haagen Dasz tiramisu ice cream. All because we were too late. =(

We then went to Mid Valley after that and decided to watch Soloman Kane. Spent one and a half hours in Starbucks waiting for da movie. =/

Well, can’t really say it’s worth the long wait but it’s definitely not the worst movie I’ve ever watched.




The actual reason I wanted to watch this movie was purely because of James Purefoy. I liked his character in ‘Rome’ some time ago and I just decided to check him out again.

Amaxophobia..?

Finally, a proper update from me! Tee hee~

It's March now! A month that is filled with assignments, tests and presentation. =/

And while in the midst of all these, I actually went to Kukup on the 6th and 7th. Good, eh? Too bad we didn't take any pics there. (or did we? i'm sure i don't have it. maybe fei has it?)

The 2 days were the most tiring days I've ever had in my life, no kidding. I've never been that tired. The longest hours of driving I've ever done in my life too:

KL -> Muar = 2 hours
Muar -> Kukup = 2.5 hours
Kukup -> Muar = 2.5 hours
Muar -> KL = 2 hours
Total: 9 hours of driving

Why am I so effin' bored? It's holiday and goddamnit, I'm actually spending it by sitting in front of my laptop for da whole day.

Well, at least it's raining today!

The weather for the past few days was seriously way way beyond hot. It's like living in sauna. And mind you, I'm living on the 16th floor of a condo and yet I can promise you the hotness I've experienced is equally as much as everyone else on da ground.

Anyway, I'm not going back to Muar this week. So, Muarians don't miss me too much. XD

There are plenty of assignments and tests next month, so I'm pretty sure it's gonna be a long tough March coming.

I need motivation. Someone please motivate me to start picking up the books again. I will be really grateful if you could come up to me on my MSN, Facebook or Twitter and say, 'oi, time to study d la!'.

I finally bought the wallet that I've long wanted.

It's not cheap but it's well worth it. And honestly, I've been looking out for this for quite some time already. Glad, I'm finally able to own one.

I've been on a shopping spree lately and the aftermath, a fuckin' big hole in my pocket. =/

And one thing I really hate about shopping is when we start to count the quantity of things we've bought and eventually realize the amount of money spent.

But I've come to realize that as long as what I bought brings me the satisfaction, it should be considered worthy. Or at least, it is a thought that somehow delusionally makes me feel better.

How I wish I'm a super rich guy. Coz' then, I will not have to worry about the money I've spent and there'd be no more financial issue in my life. It's great, ain't it? But on the other side, I'll never actually understand or learn the value and the importance of money anymore. =/

The best way is to be right in the middle. Tee hee.

By the way, I've cut my hair few days ago. And I dyed it too. LOL.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to dye it coz' everytime I dyed my hair, it always ended up badly. And I'm afraid the same thing would happen again.

Nevertheless, I've lost to my indecisiveness. Is there such a word? Whatever. I am just so vulnerable to 'psycho'. I'm easily influenced by people, specifically CBM.

In the end, after Tan Fei 'psycho-ed' me, my hair ended up brown.

Wake up in the morning feelin' like.. I'm so not myself. XD

Plainly because I rarely wake up in the morning. When I mean morning, I mean not later than 12pm.

My classes mostly fall on afternoon though, fortunately. So, I'm having the privilege of being able to wake up later than most people.

But then, it actually feels nice to get up early once in awhile. It feels like I'm so so normal. Living a normal life, just like everyone else. :D

I miss having McDonald's breakfast set.

Rotten luck

What on earth is happening? Why do I feel like so many things are all barging towards me out of sudden?

Damn it. I thought a brand new year is supposed to mark a new and good beginning for me, but I guess I'm wrong and this is not the first time.

What should I say? This is definitely not what I've expected to begin my new year with.

Though, I have to admit the first few days of the month were awesome. Hanging out with my fellow CBM kakis. But the good times always end swiftly.

Just when I thought I am already having a really hard time coping with my financial difficulties (or simply, I'm so fucking poor =/), some guy in the futsal court decided to think otherwise. My phone was stolen and I've only been using the phone for no longer than 3 months.

And you thought that is bad enough? Hell no. Lady luck somehow hates to see me go a few week without any trouble and decided to screw me again this morning. I accidentally bumped onto a bus from the back. It's my car I'm talking about. Poor little red. =(

Now what? I have to come up with another RM200-300 to fix it. How the hell am I suppose to find the money now that I'm already a broke dude?

Insomnia

New semester officially starts in a few more hours. But damn, I'm still widely awake despite the time showing 4.25 in the morning. WTF!

Guess I just couldn't adjust the clock inside me yet. Probably gonna take a few days or weeks to eventually adapt to a non-holiday lifestyle.

Whatever.

I couldn't bring myself to sleep. No idea why. And for the record, I'm not really overly excited or anxious over this new semester thingy. So, that couldn't be the reason to my insomnia.

What should I do now? 4 something in the morning and I don't feel like sleeping.

Oh yeah, I nearly forgot I'm actually doing something right now. Blogging. Writing a bunch of craps which are meaningless.

Hello 2010!

First entry of the year! w00t.

It's a brand new year now, which also means my 3 months holiday is finally coming to an end soon.

Damn.. Three f'n months flew by just like that.

I'll have to start getting used with a pen in my palm again. I'm not joking.

After all these months of break, I'm seriously finding it really hard to hold a pen properly let alone writing.

Truth is, I want my break to be longer than it already is. Haha. Call me lazy or whatever it is, I don't care. =P

But seriously, uni is starting again. It's gonna be a tough few weeks for me to adjust everything back to studying mode.

Whatever.

New semester starts next Monday!

Though, I have to admit I miss my friends here too.

So..
